LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF!

Hi, I'm Mohammed Shiroz, a software engineer and AI enthusiast from Sri Lanka who turns complex ideas into elegant, real-world solutions. With over 9 years of hands-on experience, I currently work at Kate Group, where I lead the development of a comprehensive real estate ERP system — architecting its structure and building a custom framework I designed to power their real estate business operations end to end. Along the way I've built and maintained web applications with the Laravel framework, run SEO, and crafted clean, user-focused designs for clients across Sri Lanka, Qatar, the USA, Canada, Australia, and the UK.

I'm obsessed with staying current. I work across the modern stack, from PHP, Laravel, JavaScript, Python, Java and C# to modern web, mobile, cloud, databases, IT system administration, and networking, and I'm especially passionate about AI, IoT, and embedded technologies. I build AI-powered automation that streamlines business operations and cuts manual work, and I love bringing hardware to life through IoT and embedded engineering. A project I'm proud of: an AI-driven home automation system controlled entirely by voice, built with Arduino, blending software, AI, and embedded systems into one seamless experience.
