I'm Shiroz, a software engineer based in Srilanka. Born in Batticaloa - Srilanka and studied Software Engineering at British College Applied Studies - University of Wolverhampton. I specialized in digital web development using personalized frameworks and server-side technologies as well. I have been working in the web industry for 3 years and have completed unique projects with both digital agencies and corporate companies.

I'm an energetic and enthusiastic person who enjoys challenges and achieving personal goals. I enjoy working with new technologies and when the work needs out-of-the-box analysis and creativity, that makes my task interesting and satisfying. Moreover, the opportunity to learn new skills and work with new technologies is particularly attractive to me. Apart from that in my past history, After my school studies, I’ve planned to learn & understand about IT Education, industry, etc... Cause I’m very enthusiastically that I realized about IT (Information and Communication Technology) subject when I was studying O/L in my school life, as a result of that, I was thinking with my result and other university and all, it wasn’t helping me to figure out what is my passion or what will be the sole purpose of my entire life, I decided to change the path and live my entire life with what I used to love in my early life. Yes, It was a “Computer”.

Then I decided to join with VTC (Vocational Training Center) Institute of Engineering to study beyond the basics level. The level of (NVQ Level #3) certification. That is very helped me to learn more basic and a bit advanced things on IT field requirements. More I’m an electrician too. While I was studying time, I planned to improve my electrical education. (So how). I’ve been following an electrical course and get knowledge about that. I did well.

Constantly, I’ve joined the British college of applied studies (BCAS City campus) in Colombo-6 for my higher studies. Studied in HND in computing and system development. That was useful to improve my talent and skill in software engineering. As a student, I've joined many real-world projects in every stage of SDLC that are related and non-related to my course works into the college and other areas and more.

As a result of my decisions, I'm here now. As a Software Engineering Developer and undergraduate, Dreamer, Thinker & Lover of most modern-day technologies. After I decided to continue my success and make it soon, I spent most of my time living with my computer to learn new things that I've been interested in.

And always try to update my knowledge of mine with the growth of IT, and I always try to do some coding and designing for the projects in which I'm involved too. I'm pretty interested in networking too. Such as Servers, cloud computing, database management, big data, and network troubleshooting are my personal main interests while going into this software field. I’m pretty interested in electrical kinds of stuff too. Such as Arduino embedded programming, designing, and implementation. I'm ready. Challenge me. I will obviously be amazed by finding a solution with the latest technology trends and technologies. It is an art, an art of creating innovative solutions with multi-talented people around the globe. Get on people at all levels, easily making good working relationships with others. And, I looking forward to being a part of a team to solve challenges with good cooperative skills through innovation and research.

I hate to do a JOB. Because this is my passion. I don't want to be a traditional employee or manager or whatever person that wants to do a job for just money or buy food or buy a new vehicle. I just wanted to give my service to a great company and be one important wheel of their system and be a successful person. And I'm pretty sure that the company having a passionate & enthusiastic person like me, will put a dent in the universe.

I enjoy the environment and I searching for a job interesting and satisfying. The opportunity to learn new skills and work with new technologies. I’m a believer in learning the fundamentals first, with the craving for software clean coding. I am an optimistic person too, and also realistic about the current situation and how satisfactory or unsatisfactory it is. I am a quick learner and my biggest strength is I can quickly identify my weaknesses and act on them to overcome them. I'm a person who is expecting to become a well-educated professional.

I am an enthusiastic person who loves to work on challenging problems that would ultimately benefit society and my knowledge. I'm looking toward engaging myself in a challenging working environment in the field of software development that would allow me to utilize my skills and capabilities, while further enhancing my skills and knowledge.

About the working experience: For 3 years I've been working remotely as a software developer, SEO analyzer, and designer in a UK company. mainly my responsibilities are developing the web application using the Laravel framework, maintaining the site work, and even more, producing a progress report. It was another amazing experience to utilize and gain my knowledge.

The final point is: Apart from being technical, I like to enjoy life too :) Reading, entrepreneurship, and playing cricket and computer games are interests that I enjoy pursuing. There is a lot to do with technology. I'm still working on that. But when we are together, it will be more successful and easier. So, let’s be the next better change in the world.
